Anxiety 3

This is just generally awesome.

As someone who has battled anxiety in a slightly different form (social anxiety) for a long while and who is coming out of the other side of it now, this speaks volumes as to how it feels from the inside. Sharing this sort of thing is good - especially leavened with humour!

And yeah, getting to the point where you can kick the anxiety in the invisibles... major win :-)

This is a really positive way to show how anxiety affects people. I'm sure it will help many people who suffer too. Brilliant stuff!

Fascinating, really well done– and helpful, I'm sure. Great stuff.

Viv, thank you for these beautiful comics :) They've made me very happy and I'm so proud of you for drawing them! I wish that more people could be brave enough to express these sorts of things in their work, myself included. This has inspired me a lot. xx

I absolutely love this. It's somehow warm and reassuring without being shallow, like everything you make. Now that you've kicked your genuinely-frightening-but-also-somewhat-ridiculous monster in the goolies, I hope that this comic will help others do the same. I'll be cheering from the sidelines. x

These are great, Viv! I love the way you draw them, and how I never know what's going to come next in the dialogue. Lovely stuff! And the kind of story that needs making. xx

Ack! I only deleted that last comment because it had posted the same thing twice. Silly Google sign-in procedure. :p

These comics are really great, Viv! Brave and human and important. Such a big part of being human is being vulnerable, and it's important to talk about that. You are doing it with humor and warmth and it is reassuring to read. Keep it up :)
