Friday Morning

Hm. Might need two coffees today.
But got a lovely mail from Eric in Canada, I sent him a sheep I crocheted for his baby in a burst of sheep crocheting inspiration and he arrived in one piece... my friend Matthew (who knows these things) says I should make a pattern section on my site for toys, but I don't know how to write crocheting patterns... I'll try and find out.

Please do! Matthew is totally correct, it's the loveliest toy in the world and it's so nice to see a toy that a child can actually hold rather than the super delicate arty ones. Ray is amazing, the most charming, well made toy in the house. I feel like I found a Steiff from 1899 in perfect condition in an antique shop. He is seriously perfect. Thank you.

Hrrr... I am all flattered now! :)
Oh I just noticed you posted him!! He he, I shall link to show off!
I like the way you kept his secret identity secret.

OK I better try and learn how to count stitches!

The fact that his costume comes off is one of the coolest things. Like having a very limited edition action figure.

Oh, he does some wrestling moves too! They do all look kinda belly-flop to me, but are quite effective. He was collecting all the belts off the WWF guys from Alexis' childhood collection while he was still here. I was a bit sorry to take them back off him actually, but I think he understands that superheroes don't really need world championship heavyweight wrestling belts.
