Elephant and Castle Station... an ok place to be for old city pigeons.

I agree... that's mammals for you I guess... on the top gallery they have a collection called "whales, dolphins and dugongs" I think, and in that is a sort of prehistoric wolf. It's there as the ancestor of the lot, whales and all. It seems to me that just about every mammal descended from sort of a wolf. I remember seeing a reconstruction on TV of the ancestor of the sheep, and it also was sort of a wolf, but with bigger haws which it used to crack open sea turtles on the beach. Odd, no?
