Oh! Post!

Aaah! Two new things arrived in the post! And I have no time to look at them!

Hah, that's quite a good Amazon success rate... I ordered five things and got one next day, one got lost in the post, one just arrived and was something entirely else, and then here's these two. Good!

Now must run like mad thing across London and have meeting about next Timothy-Smallbeast-style book of even higher adventure featuring even furrier protagonists.

Even furrier? Awesome... The Lear book looks really cool. and expensive. Sigh.

Thanks Vhrsti! :)

Yah, even furrier. Now I'm back from the meeting and I can confidently say it's The Furriest project I've been involved in up to date.

The Lear isn't that dear, second hand eighties publication, check Amazon...

And it's wonderful, such fantastic pictures!!! The bird on the cover is from his book on parrots which he had published at the age of 20... whoah!!!! And inside you get loads more. I'm especially pleased with the owls, which are useful reference for something I'm working on...

The Fanelli book is beautiful, a bit samey on first read. Lots of varied quotes from great writers alongside her collage imagery. Sort of meditative, hell looks much the same as onions as heaven as birds as love as madness - all beautiful. It's like listening to a language I'm unfamiliar with and I can't tell tales of horror from jokes from shopping lists, but I get a feeling if I'd keep looking it might unfold into subtle variety, and until then it's a very pleasant noise.
I like it.
